Counter-Cultural Christianity: Living Out Godly Values in a Changing Society

In today’s world, the moral and spiritual landscape is rapidly shifting. As society moves further from God’s standards, Christians face increasing pressure to conform to cultural norms that contradict their faith. In this session, we will be reminded of these values and shown how we can exemplify these values as leaders.

2

The God Who Provides: Stories of Divine Provision and Faithfulness

God always pays for what he orders. Through real-life testimonies and biblical examples, participants will be encouraged and their faith strengthened as they witness how God never abandons His work but always provides in His time and way. This session will serve as a reminder that when we step out in obedience, trusting in His calling, we can be confident that His provision will follow.

3

The Church and Politics – Why and How Christians Can Influence the Political Space

Throughout history, the Church has played a significant role in shaping societies, influencing governance, and advocating for justice and righteousness. From biblical figures like Joseph, Daniel, and Esther, who impacted political systems, to modern movements where Christian leaders have fought for human rights, social justice, and ethical governance, the Church has a mandate to engage with political affairs.

This session seeks to explore why the Church should be involved in shaping political discourse and how believers can engage in politics responsibly and biblically. It will provide practical ways for Christians to influence governance through informed voting, advocacy, civic engagement, and leadership, all while maintaining integrity and a Christ-centered approach.

4

How to foster a healthy church

The Church is more than just a building—it is a living body of believers called to reflect Christ, grow in faith, and impact the world (Ephesians 4:11-16). A healthy church is one that thrives spiritually, relationally, and missionally, fulfilling its purpose of worship, discipleship, fellowship, and outreach. This session will provide insights on how to deal with the challenges of division, spiritual stagnation, leadership struggles, and a lack of engagement.

5

How to be secure in your calling

Questions like “Am I truly called?”“Do I have what it takes?”, or “What if I fail?” can create insecurity and hinder spiritual growth. Not to talk about the pressure of competition in ministry. This down to earth session will provide insights on how to remain grounded and centred.

6

Minding your well-being : family, health and finances

In the pursuit of ministry, many Pastors and ministers unintentionally neglect their personal well-being, leading to burnout, strained relationships, poor health, and financial struggles. This session will provide practical strategies, biblical insights, and action steps to help participants prioritize their well-being while honoring God in every area of life.

7

Feedback from the Pews: The Value of Listening to Those We Lead

No human being has a 360-degree perspective. Even the best among us have blind spots. That is why wise leadership requires humility and a willingness to receive insight from others.

As leaders, we are often accustomed to sharing wisdom with those in the pews, but we must also recognize that God has placed wise counselors among them just as we saw Jethro advise Moses. This session will afford ministers the opportunity to hear back from the pews.

8

What Pentecostal and Orthodox Churches can learn from each other.

The Body of Christ is diverse, with different traditions, expressions of worship, and theological emphases. Among these, Pentecostal and Orthodox churches represent two distinct streams of Christianity—one known for its vibrant, Spirit-filled worship and emphasis on spiritual gifts, and the other for its deep historical roots, liturgical richness, and theological depth. While approaches to faith may differ, both traditions have valuable insights to offer each other.

This session will explore key areas where mutual learning and enrichment can take place, fostering greater unity in the broader Christian family.

9

How to build a strong communication strategy for your church community.

Effective communication is essential for a thriving church community. Whether sharing sermons, announcements, pastoral care, or outreach initiatives, churches must ensure their message is clear, consistent, and engaging across various platforms. In today’s fast-paced and digitally connected world, a strong communication strategy helps keep the congregation informed, connected, and spiritually engaged.

This session will focus on defining the church message, how to utilise multiple channels effectively, engaging the digital generation, encouraging two way communication and crisis communication amongst others issues.

10

Effectively discipling young people

Insights into how to effectively disciple In a world filled with distractions, shifting values, and cultural pressures, young people need intentional discipleship to grow in their faith and develop a deep, lasting relationship with Christ. However, many churches struggle to effectively disciple the next generation, often relying on outdated methods or failing to engage youth in meaningful ways.

This session will explore how to disciple young people in a way that is biblically sound, culturally relevant, and deeply transformative.

11

Rediscovering the heart of worship in corporate gatherings

Many believers today express concern about the direction of corporate worship, noticing a shift toward performance, entertainment, or personal preference rather than a deep, God-centered experience. As churches seek to engage modern audiences, there is a risk of prioritizing production over presence, talent over true surrender, and atmosphere over authenticity.
