MASTER CLASS FOR
CHOIR / MUSIC DIRECTORS

This meeting will be virtual. Will hold on Zoom platform.
This learning event is for Church Choir Directors / Music Directors and persons in the music team being groomed for leadership. This Master class will provide insights on:
- Interpreting and scoring songs
- Selecting repertoire and arranging music
- Planning and managing rehearsals
- Engaging and collaborating with other departments that work with the music team
- Song analysis and interpretation
- Making creative decisions under pressure
- Striking the balance between art, heart and technical considerations
- Getting your team exposed to new skills and techniques
- Conflict resolution
- Keeping records and documentation
- Representing the music team before the pastorate or church leadership
- Managing budgets and resources
- Mentoring and guiding singers and musicians
- Familiarity with Digital Audio systems
FACILITATORS
DEE JONES
Dee Jones is a man of many parts. He’s a worship leader, producer, recording artiste, music director and lead pastor of The Gathering Houston. He has served as music director for Sinach and also worked with Donnie McKlurkin, Tye Tribett, Jonathan Nelson, Panam Percy Paul, Todd Dulaney and Pastor Benny Hinn just to mention a few.
Dr JOKE
Dr. Joke is a worship leader, church music consultant, keyboardist, drummer, music teacher, producer, director and arranger. She is known for her unique approaches to working with musicians of all ages.
She was the Music Director of the multiple award winning Leicester University Voices (LUV) who came first place in 2015 and first runners up in 2016 and 2017 at the University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY) annual competition.
She has also directed many other choirs including the Victory Word Choir of Victory Christian Church Lagos, the Winners Voices of Winners Chapel Awka, the Lancaster University Gospel Pentecostal Choir,The Vessels of Honour Choir at RCCG City of Favour Leicester, UK and currently, the Music Director of God’s Embassy in Edmonton Alberta.
Dr. Joke has a PHD in Geography and is a Geospatial Analysis Consultant.
WOLE ADESANYA
Adewole Adesanya, popularly known as Mr. Wols, is the lead pastor at Revealing Christ International Mission. He is also the founder and Creative Director of Blue Flame Media. He holds a Music degree from the University of Lagos. His journey with music started early; he learned to play the keyboard at age 13 and became the assistant organist in his grandfather’s church at age 14.
He is a multiple award-winning music producer, musicologist, praise and worship leader, music instructor, pianist, guitarist, and conference speaker. He has worked with, produced, mixed, and mastered songs for notable artists and brands like TY Bello, Lara George, Kent-Edunjobi, Emma Oh My God, Dunsin Oyekan, Gabriel Eziashi, Nosa, David Nkennor, Victoria Orenze, Waje, Freke Umoh, Tolu Ijogun, Olumide Iyun, K’ore, Pastor Wale Adenuga, Infinity, Mike Abdul, Panam Percy Paul, Glowreeyah Braimah, AMVCA, Sky Bank, Hollandia, FCMB, amongst many others.
He has served on the judges’ panel for several prestigious music competitions like BMO choir competition, Next big Seraph, amongst many others.
He studied the art of mixing at Berklee’s online college of music. He lives with his family in Lagos, Nigeria. He is married to Iniobong Adesanya. Their union is blessed with three children.
WALE ADENUGA (HOST)
Wale Adenuga is a worship leader, songwriter, social entrepreneur and retired pastor.
With over 35 years in the music and worship ministry, Wale has been very passionate about resourcing church worship ministries.
